| 2 loaves hard crusted bread cubed 2 TBS each butter and olive oil 2 cloves garlic minced 1 shallot minced 1 granny smith apple peeled, cored, and diced 3 TBS fresh parsley minced 2 stocks celery 1 carrot 1 ½ cups chicken stock ½ apple juice Salt and pepper | |
| In baking pan add cubed bread and toast off. In sauté pan add butter, olive oil, garlic, and shallots and sauté for about a minute. Do not allow to burn. Add toasted bread and remaining ingredients and mix well together. Add mixture to oven safe casserole dish that has been buttered and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until brown on top. Serve and enjoy. | |
